Key responsibilities:

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

Business Partner:
  • Focus on value creation
  • Become the business advisor to operations decision making
  • Support and challenge business decisions
  • Manage risks

Cash:
  • To ensure that cash collections for the day are deposited in the bank on the immediately following day.
  • To reconcile physical cash balances with the books of account

Materials:
  • To maintain separate accounts for consumables purchased for each department.

Payments:
  • To ensure that payments are made on time to suppliers as per the agreed-upon terms.
  • To interact with suppliers in case of any billing-related queries.
  • To ensure that all collections are transferred to SO after keeping a minimum balance in the account.
  • To ensure that all payments are made only after proper approval and authorization from the requisite persons
  • In case of extra payment received, it should be maintained in the account for that corporate or sundry account.

Statutory Payments:
  • To deduct and pay TDS within the time stipulated by the relevant act.
  • To deposit PF and PT deducted from employees within the stipulated period.
  • To ensure no delays take place in remitting statutory payments to the government.

Payroll:
  • To supervise the processing of payroll and entries of the same in books of accounts.

Analysis:
  • Preparing Finance analysis & Variance analysis.
  • Driving Cost saving initiatives.
  • Preparing Annual Budgets
  • Prepare business cases for CAPEX and OPEX requirements

Accounts, Audit, and MIS:
  • To prepare MIS reports viz. Income Statement, Working capital, etc by the 2nd of the following month.
  • To prepare Trial Balance and such other reports as required by management on a timely basis.
  • To complete the statutory Audit and tax Audit within the specified time in coordination with the Auditors.

System Implementation:
  • To ensure that systems implemented are according to the specifications provided.
  • To impart training to subordinates with respect to the system.
  • To gradually implement all the features of the system with the cooperation of the IT department.

Desired Candidate Profile
Charted Accountant with 10-12 years of experience in healthcare domain
Technical Skill:
To have sound knowledge of the existing process.
Ability to learn various other accounting packages.
Verbal Ability/Communication Skill:
To think independently & exercise one's own judgment in deterring action.
To develop cordial relations with other depts. and have an empathetic approach.
Problem Solving/Decision Making:
To handle problems/ issues regarding the job & able to take decisions regarding the same.
