JOB SUMMARY: 

The Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of recruiting consultants and associate recruiters who vet and qualify expert witness candidates for litigation. This role involves overseeing the expert recruiting process, developing and implementing effective vetting strategies, and ensuring a seamless engagement experience for both experts and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of recruitment best practices in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Recruiting Consultants and Associate Recruiters  
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations 
  • Provide training and guidance to enhance team skills and knowledge 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruiting strategies to meet expert engagement needs 
  • Oversee expert searches, candidate vetting, and handoff to engagement services  
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process. 
  • Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing requirements. 
  • Advise on best practices for expert selection and vetting techniques. 
  • Coordinate with engagement services and other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process 
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to senior management 
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven adjustments as needed 


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions 
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills  
  • Demonstrates initiative, follow through, and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve creatively, effectively, and efficiently 
  • Ability to successfully build and leverage relationships 


EDUCATION & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role 
  • Experience in customer relationship management and applicant tracking systems, preferred 
  • Law/consulting firm experience a plus 

LOCATION: 

  • This position is 100% remote and supports east to west coast time zones
