Description

We are currently seeking an electrical/software/computer engineer with a passion for C++/QT/QML to join our fast-paced and innovative team.

Location: Remote.

Responsibilities:

· Work with principal engineers, senior software engineers, and peers to understand the required tasks.

· Develop business logic using state machines in C++ using Qt Creator in Linux and/or Windows environments.

· Assist UI/UX engineers in the development of pixel-perfect graphical components for use in the final application.

· Collaborate with Firmware Engineers to develop communication logic with various I/O control boards.

· Perform testing to ensure products meet design goals.

· Conduct independent research and development work to resolve problems with existing products.

· Prepare documentation detailing test plans, test results, and installation/operational instructions for end users.

· Occasionally travel for system integration assistance and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

· A Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with 6-10 years of experience.

· Experience with Qt.

· Familiarity with the Linux operating system and shell scripts.

· A solid understanding of the C/C++ programming language.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to adapt to new process requirements and a diversity of company production tasks.

· Experience with Microchip PIC and/or other Microcontrollers preferred.

· Experience with XML and JSON data preferred.
