Job Description

WHAT ARE WE HIRING?

We are seeking to hire a financial assistant who will help us on our financial department. You will support on budget analysis and monitoring, manage reports, and the information needed with partners and suppliers.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Collect and enter data for financial reports or other ad-hoc financial spreadsheets;
  • Assist in creating and setting budgets and analyse actuals vs budget;
  • Manage data, records, and reports by checking for errors and verifying information accuracy;
  • Create and update cost and sales analysis reports for other departments;
  • Keep track of accounts payable and follow up on ongoing issues with suppliers or partners;
  • Prepare and control accruals and deferrals;
  • Suggest improvements on accuracy, efficiency, and reducing costs;
  • Follows financial policies and procedures implemented;
  • Provide information to internal and external entities and assist with audits as necessary.

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Student/Recent Graduate/ Masters student (preferential);
  • Great ability with Excel and Power BI (preferential);
  • Attention to detail to catch errors;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently to prioritize daily tasks and responsibilities, but also as a team member;
  • Proactive attitude and good communication skills;
  • Fluent English speaker.

Additional Information

Location: Office at Nova SBE (Hybrid)

Salary: Remuneration package (along with meal allowance + health insurance)
