Job description

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide timely support for Magento-related inquiries and issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems reported by clients.
  • Handle customer communications efficiently via email, chat, and other channels.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of Magento websites to identify performance issues.
  • Assist clients with installing and configuring Magento extensions.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for Magento usage.
  • Collaborate with the development team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for support processes.
  • Monitor the status of ongoing support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform regular updates and maintenance on client Magento installations.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated with the latest Magento features.
  • Identify areas for improvement in support workflows and client satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage multiple support requests simultaneously while prioritizing tasks.
  • Report recurring issues to the management for long-term resolutions.

 

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Magento development and support or e-commerce platform management.
  • Strong understanding of Magento architecture and functionalities.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with PHP programming and web development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Experience in technical documentation and reporting.
  • Knowledge of customer support best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Experience with ticketing systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL.
  • Understanding of SEO principles related to e-commerce.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
