Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, independent Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to gain experience in a positive fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
Maintain comprehensive records, ensuring the secure storage and accessibility of important documents.
Use judgment and experience to problem solve mid-level accounting problems.
Perform month-end close procedures.
Assist with audits and other special projects as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Experience:

3+ years in an accounting function with experience in AP, AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, in English, through verbal and written means
Ability to think critically and elevate issues when necessary
US accounting experience
Ability to work independently with a level of attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
