4-5 years of experience in the IT industry, particularly in virtualization., In-depth knowledge of Citrix technologies such as XenApp, XenDesktop, and StoreFront., Familiarity with VMware virtualization, including Horizon view for VDI environments., Experience in configuring and maintaining virtual environments, including vCenter and ESX..

Key responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Citrix virtualization environments, including MCS and PVS.
  • Create and manage VDI master images and desktop pools.
  • Troubleshoot and administer related systems, including Active Directory and DNS.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding project updates and issues.

Job description

Mandate to have:
1. Holds experience of 4-5 yrs in IT industry, prominently in Virtualization domain
2. In-depth knowledge in different Citrix technologies like XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, Provisioning services, Licensing, Studio, Web interface
3. VMWare virtualization knowledge including Horizon view for VDI environment
4. Citrix virtualization - which includes MCS and PVS both.
5. Experience in virtual environment configuration and installations. For eg. vCenter, ESX, vSphere etc.
6. Experience in Creation and maintenance of VDI master images and desktop pools. 

Good to have:
1. Administration and troubleshooting Skills (Active Directory, DNS , DHCP etc)
2. Linux OS experience
3. Familiar with concepts of System testing, Functional testing, Regression Testing, Performance testing
4. Experience in Test planning, Agile
5. Strong Triaging/Debugging skills
6. Effective client communication
