Bachelor/Master of Engineering Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering from a reputed institute., 5-7 years of significant IT experience in Java with strong core Java skills., Experience in resolving security vulnerabilities and familiarity with OWASP vulnerabilities model., Hands-on experience with Oracle/SQL server databases and technologies like JSP, JS, JSTL, AWS, AngularJS, Struts, Spring Boot, and Hibernate..

Key responsibilities:

  • Handle tech debt in the application, including upgrading Spring/Hibernate to the latest version.
  • Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities flagged by various tools such as Blackduck, Fortify, and Veracode.
  • Work independently without team management responsibilities.
  • Ensure the application adheres to design principles and patterns while maintaining code quality.

Job description

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for handling tech debt in the application
· E.g. upgrade Spring/hibernate from EOL to latest version
· Candidate will be responsible to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities, those are
flagged by various tools like Blackduck,Fortify,Veracode,Synack,Netsparker..etc
· Position is for individual role(No team management is involved)
Qualifications:
· Bachelor/Master of Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or
equivalent from reputed institute
· Significant IT experience in Java for 5-7 years.
· Strong core Java skills
· Prior experience in solving tech debt/s in the product.
· Experience in resolving security vulnerabilities identified by Blackduck/Fortify/Veracode/
Synack/Netsparker..etc
· Familiarity with OWASP vulnerabilities model.
· Strong concept of object-oriented and design principles, design patterns.
· Strong experience in JUnit and familiarity with Test-Driven Design.
· Hands on experience on Oracle/SQL server database.
· Hands on experience on JSP/JS/JSTL/AWS
· Knowledge on AngularJS/Struts/Spring boot/hibernate.
