DevOps Architect Job Description ( 10+ Years)
Design and implement cloud provisioning and deployment solutions which are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable and cost
optimized.
Work closely with Engineering group to support implementation of cloud provisioning and deployment solutions.
Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating client test as well a s
production environments.
Hands on experience in using build servers like Jenkins, GitHub Workflow, Bamboo, Team City etc.
Experience in implementing containerized solution using Docker, Kubernetes Service
Experience in implementing distributed tracing to troubleshoot the interactions between micro services
Experience of microservice production deployment using blue green technique.
Solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery best practices.
Has good experience with Azure/AWS/GCP Cloud, PaaS, IaaS, SaaS architecture from Technical and non Technical perspectives.
Has good experience with AppDynamics/ NewRelic /Elastic APM, Prometheus, Grafana and ELK/EFK/
Enhancing application code and making recommendations to the dev team to ease application operationalization.
Experience migrating systems to hybrid or fully cloud based solutions.
Working knowledge of application servers, servlet containers, and web servers.
Good communication skills for a highly collaborative software development process.
Excellent verbal communication, analytical skill and critical thinking.
Good to have experience of
1) Java based microservice design and development.
2) knowledge of Java, Python, Shell Scripts, PowerShell, SQL.
3) Knowledge of messaging system like Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure EventHub, Amazon Kinesis.
4) knowledge of databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB
