You will join a team of talented tech writers who work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use.
Qualification
Graduate or Post-Graduate with 3 - 5 Years of relevant work experience.
Technical Qualification
Must have:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical/language/communication field
Demonstrated success in designing, writing, and delivering technical documentation
Good to have:
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
Extensive experience in working on SharePoint platform
Experience on authoring tools like Adobe Technical Communication Suite, MS office, Madcap, DITA XML Editors
Understand DDLC, documentation styles and standards specific to the organization
Create high-quality documents using contemporary writing, publishing, and image capturing tools
Working knowledge of version control systems, bug databases
Understand the UI elements such as the menu items, wizards, screens and use these during the documentation as required
Develop structured and high-quality user documentation, standard operating procedures, and other technical documentation with minimal supervision
An excellent ability to edit written materials to form technically accurate and grammatically correct information
Must be well-versed with diversified documentation deliverables such as installation guides, release notes, upgrade documentation, getting started and feature-specific articles/scenarios
Additional Requirement
Review, edit and manage validation of documentation
Track and fix documentation defects
Advocate for product improvements and usability
Comfortable writing technical content in an approachable tone
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Knowledge of Technical Writing Style guides
Knowledge of developing structured documentation
Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
