Business Analyst We are searching for an ecommerce business analyst to improve and maintain our e-commerce presence, processes, and
sales. In thisrole, you will be tasked with analyzing key metrics about our business and its performance which you will
use to generate insights and reports for marketing, UX, payment, and overallstrategy.
To ensure success as an ecommerce business analyst you should be adept at data mining, business intelligence, report
writing, and process optimization. An e-commerce business analyst will be required to be knowledgeable on a broad
range of e-commerce activities, such as SEO, website design, sales funneling, conversions, and digital marketing.
Specific responsibilities:
● Determining the company's e-commerce goals and KPIs.
● Identifying key areas for improvements, such as audience acquisition, behavior, and conversions.
● Monitoring and analyzing e-commerce metrics and figures.
● Transforming e-commerce data into operational insights.
● Researching competitors, alternative markets, and opportunities in the e-commerce space.
● Brainstorming ideasto enhance and transform the company's e-commerce approach.
● Developing e-commerce solutions in conjunction with marketing and IT personnel.
● Implementing broad e-commerce strategiesto assist our business development goals.
● Reporting and acting on changes and market trends.
● Advising various business stakeholders on e-commerce related matters.
● A bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or data science.
● A minimum of 4 years’ experience in digital economies and e-commerce.
● In-depth understanding of web-analytic tools, such as Google Analytics, Heap, Oracle, and OWOX BI.
● Knowledge of important e-commerce terminology and measures.
● Highly organized, analytical, and technically-minded.
● Proficient in various data analysistechniques and procedures.
● Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
● Able to orient data analyticsinsights with the end-user in mind.

Qualification:
● Proficiency with web analytics toolssuch as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics(Omniture), Web
trends and with first party consumer data sets.
● High proficiency with SQL and data warehousing tools such as Snowflake
● Proficiency with using Power BI, Google Data studio to create data visualizations from disparate data
sources.
● Comprehensive understanding of Google Analytics(UA & v4.0)
● Strong ability to clearly articulate business performance metricsthrough data and data
visualization.
● Well versed in automated reporting methods such as Google APIs, Adobe Report Builder, Adobe
Workspace, and other reporting efficiency tools.
● High proficiency with Excel - including manipulating large data sets, using pivot tables,
automating data pulls through 3rd party plugins.
● Strong Microsoft Office Skillsthat can be leveraged to best communicate analytics findings.
● Demonstrated ability to solve problems, think conceptually and drive results within an ecommerce or
software development environment.
● Possess ability to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, use intuition
and experience to complement data.
