Major Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Design, configuration and testing of core CO modules (CCA, PCA, PC, PA)
Design, configuration and testing of CO-PA
Experience with report writer and report painter
Experience with product costing
Experience and knowledge of key integration points with CO modules
Experience in the planning areas that impact CO including PA P&L, uploads and versions analysis
Acts as liaison with users for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems and maps business requirements, processes and objectives; develops
necessary product modifications to satisfy business and deployment needs.
Works with other SAP analysts and teams on integrations points
Assists in identifying, testing and implementing enhancements to meet business demands
Leads upgrade efforts for the CO modules
Competencies/Skills/Knowledge Required
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Business knowledge and process design skills (preferably consumer products industry)
Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations for resolution.
Strong understanding of the FI/CO modules integration points between SD, PP and MM
Ability to effectively manage project scope, project risk and issues with appropriate escalation plans.
Team player and effective communicator at all levels within an organization.
Able to lead and influence a group of cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or Management of Information systems and at least 5 years of information technology experience is
required.
5+ years hands-on experience with configuring and supporting the CO module
At least 3 years of experience with post implementation support and support of month-end closing activities and budgeting process.About company
