Solutions Architect

Aduro Advisors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that align with our business objectives. The Solutions Architect will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports our current and future growth.

The Solutions Architect will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring that our technology infrastructure supports our current and future growth. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This role will focus primarily on tools to support our employees in their day-to-day workflows. Core systems in place are: Gsuite, Front, Slack and Notion.

Here is the type of work you will do:

Solution Design & Architecture:

• Work with the executive team to design and architect comprehensive technology solutions that meet business requirements and align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or replacements to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Develop detailed architectural diagrams, specifications, and documentation.
• Define technology roadmaps and strategies to support long-term business goals.

Technology Evaluation & Selection:

• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify potential solutions.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and feasibility studies to assess the viability of new technologies.
• Provide recommendations on technology selection, considering factors such as cost, performance, scalability, and security.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and other technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.
• Lead technical discussions and presentations to influence decision-making.
• Act as a technical liaison between business and IT teams.

Project Management & Implementation:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance during the implementation of new solutions.
• Ensure that solutions are implemented according to architectural design and best practices.
• Participate in project planning and provide technical input on timelines and resource allocation.
• Oversee and help to guide the implementation of cloud based solutions.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure that solutions are designed and implemented with security and compliance requirements in mind.
• Conduct security assessments and recommend security best practices.
• Stay up-to-date on industry security standards and regulations.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and systems.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the development of architectural standards and guidelines.

The salary for the Solutions Architect role will range $120,000 - $150,000. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the Aduro Bonus Program.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 5 + years of experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role.
• Experience with Salesforce and Notion are required
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in various programming languages and technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with API design and implementation.
• Experience with database design and implementation.
• Experience with microservice architecture.
