Description

Are you compliance-driven and curious by nature? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where change is the only constant? If so, we’d love to have you join our team as a Compliance Specialist!

In this role, you’ll be the central point for all things compliance at DCI, ensuring we not only meet—but anticipate—emerging regulatory requirements across our platforms, partnerships, and services. Your work will enable community banks to confidently navigate evolving privacy laws, open banking trends, and audit landscapes, helping them stay ahead of the curve in a heavily regulated world.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on compliance, managing relationships with our third-party compliance and AML/BSA businesses
  • Interpret and implement new legislation and regulatory changes impacting community banking, including GDPR-based privacy regulations and open banking proposals
  • Centralize and manage DCI’s compliance processes, including documentation, risk assessments, and procedural development
  • Conduct audits and monitor workflows to ensure company-wide adherence to relevant laws and standards
  • Review transactions for potential fraud, irregularities, or non-compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide training to internal DCI staff on new findings, requirements, and compliance best practices—think security training, but for privacy and compliance
  • Represent the compliance function in cross-departmental meetings and executive presentations—yes, you’ll have a seat at the table!
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Relationship Managers, Development, Operations, Security, and Executive teams on compliance-related decisions, client requests, and regulatory updates
  • Support annual fraud and tax reporting responsibilities, acting as a backup to the Fraud department as needed

What Will Help You Stand Out:

  • Compliance certifications such as CAMS, CFE, CRCMP, CRCM, CFCS, or similar
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Familiarity with compliance tools like NICE Actimize, LexisNexis, Experian, and AML/KYC systems
  • Knowledge of core banking systems and payment processing (ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT, Loan Processing, and Nacha)
  • SQL proficiency or experience working with databases to support audits and data validation
  • Attention to detail and stellar documentation skills
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements
  • Advanced PC operation skills, word-processing, and spreadsheet software proficiency

A Day in the Life

Imagine starting your day by reviewing various sources for new compliance legislations impacting the financial sector, fielding a question from a partner bank on compliance protocol, and then jumping into a cross-functional meeting to advise on the rollout of a new product. By afternoon, you’re developing a training module for staff and prepping a deck for senior leadership that outlines DCI’s strategic compliance stance. Every day looks different—but each one moves us closer to proactive, centralized compliance operations.

Why Join DCI?
