Job Description

Under the direction of the RCM Systems Manager, the RPA & RCM Systems Specialist is responsible for the oversight of all Robotic Process Automations (RPAs or bots) that support RCM. 

Primary Job Duties:

  • Daily Responsibilities

    • Monitor daily output reports

    • Triage and research performance issues 

    • Maintain RCM RPA inventory on the Monday Board

    • Partner with Product Engineering regarding statuses and actions required

  • RPA Development

    • Identify opportunities for new bots that reduce cost or generate revenue

    • Manage inbound bot requests; supporting data collection as needed

    • Develop workflows in partnership with the RCM Training Team

    • Understand and adhere to Product Engineering requirements for RPA submission

    • Testing in partnership with Product Team

  • Workflow Management

    • Develop an in depth understanding of RCM workflows and best practices

    • Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency of bots and of existing RCM workflows

    • Monitor athenaOne for updates that will impact bot workflows and take appropriate and timely action to prevent interruption

  • Communication

    • Communicate bot status updates to stakeholders and management as needed

    • Maintain Google Groups to support consistent report distribution and visibility to appropriate stakeholders.

 

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Graduate

  • Medical claims billing experience required 

  • 1+ yrs of RCM training and workflow experience required

  • athenaOne experience is required 

  • Experience developing and/or managing RPA preferred 

  • Microsoft Excel skills preferred  (ex: VLOOKUP, sort/filtering/formatting, pivot table, and formulas)

  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

The salary range for this role is $55,000,00 to $60,000,00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonus or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 10% based on performance in the role. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
