Job Description

As the Email Marketing Associate, you will support the execution of weekly promotional and lifecycle email campaigns for Cricut’s DTC business in the International region. You’ll be responsible for the hands-on setup, QA, scheduling, and performance tracking of all email communications.

Your focus will be on flawless execution, continuous optimization, and collaboration across content and data teams to drive email channel performance.

You will play a pivotal role in achieving the DTC sales targets by executing on the Cricut email marketing strategy. You will be held accountable for the Email channel revenue goals and other applicable KPIs. You will partner closely with the broader DTC team including Paid Media, Pricing & Promotions, Content Marketing, and others to help drive growth for Cricut’s DTC business. 

Key Responsibilities:

Email Marketing

  • Create, configure and launch email campaigns using marketing automation tools.
  • Document plan, campaign performances and test results.
  • Drive email marketing operation improvements with automation, standardization and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Analyze performance of email marketing channels and journeys, seeking ways to improve performance by delivering insights to key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Brand and Creative Marketing teams to prepare email plans that are consistent in story-telling campaigns; ensure email tactics are sufficiently planned to achieve campaign objectives, provide program and industry trends to inform the creative approach, and close the loop with campaign insights to inform future executions.
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with key internal business partners and external agencies.
  • Execute weekly promotional emails and lifecycle journeys using our marketing automation platform.
  • Assist in building and launching emails based on the promotional calendar, creative briefs, and segmentation strategies provided by the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • QA email campaigns to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Analyze campaign results and present key learnings to your manager to inform future strategy.
  • Maintain organized documentation of campaigns, tests, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with agency to ensure email assets are delivered and implemented on time.
  • Coordinate with Martech and CRM stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and data hygiene.
  • Stay informed of email marketing best practices and support compliance efforts (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).

Agency & Stakeholder Management: 

  • Guide and manage agency partners to ensure email campaigns are executed effectively.
  • Provide feedback to agencies and internal teams (Central and Local) to optimize creative assets and campaign results.
  • Manage operational aspects of agency relationships for Email Marketing ensuring seamless coordination between stakeholders
  • Monitor performance metrics, conducting regular reviews, and manage continuous optimizations to maximize campaign effectiveness within Email.

Data Analysis and Reporting: 

  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of Email Marketing
  • Assist in the creation and continued maintenance of dashboards and reports to track KPIs and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Analyze data to derive actionable insights and make strategic recommendations.
  • Report and present results for email to cross functional partners regularly
  • Responsible for accurate tracking of Email channels within GA4, working closely with external agencies and internal teams to ensure data is accurate.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to monitor key metrics across Email channels.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or other related field preferred
  • 3+ years digital marketing experience with emphasis in email marketing
  • Experience leveraging a complex marketing automation/CRM system like Selligent, ExactTarget/Salesforce, Adobe Campaign, Braze or Responsys.
  • Passion for personalization, data-driven marketing and building programs that drive incremental results.
  • Deep knowledge in customer segmentation, list management, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws.
  • Deep knowledge in email and CRM marketing.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast paced, with a growth mindset.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
