Job Description
  • Assist with employment, lease, vendor and other day-to-day practice operational matters.
  • Administer and maintain operational databases including leases, legal and medical board claims for all worldwide subsidiaries for real-time availability of accurate and current corporate data and documents
  • Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and submit reports on pertinent changes
  • Assist with obtaining certified documents from Secretaries of State
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, and other documents
  • Assist in the preparation of operational legal documents
  • Organize and manage transactional closing processes and documentation
  • Liaise with internal executives and staff at all levels
  • Liaise with practice staff
  • Provide administrative support to General Counsel and other attorneys in the legal department

Qualifications
  • Previous corporate, operational paralegal experience. Healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise, and accurate messages to others verbally and in writing. 
  • Ability to establish priorities and objectives.
  • Initiative to be able to take independent actions within a scope of authority and ask for, and offer, help when needed.
  • Hard working, resourceful, and well-organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of matters.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to professionalism is required.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Strong ability to conduct and summarize legal research.
  • Proficient computer and internet skills, with an ability to quickly learn new functions and applications.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment is critical.
