Company Description

Tyler Pipe is seeking a Region Sales Manager to lead growth and customer engagement in the Northeast Territory, including Philadelphia and Delaware, by building strong relationships with contractors, wholesalers, and distributors in the cast iron and coupling market. Guided by the core values of The McWane Way, this role supports sales, profitability, and technical excellence across the region.

Job Description

Regional Sales Manager - Northeast Territory
Location: Philadelphia area, Delaware and north throughout the Northeast
Pay: $120,000 annually; negotiable depending on experience.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Travel: 80%

What You’ll Do:

  • Represent McWane Plumbing Group and Tyler Pipe Texas in a moral, ethical, and positive manner.
  • Effectively manage time and budgets to meet the needs of the Northeast Territory and surrounding areas.
  • Establish a strong presence in the territory to gather and provide market insights, including estimated total market tons, distribution tons, McWane’s manufacturing representatives, and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturer Representative agencies where applicable.
  • Maintain knowledge of all distributors, independent owners, and regional and national companies within the territory.
  • Track and understand contractors' current jobs and activity within the territory.
  • Perform administrative duties, including submitting weekly reports to the National Sales Manager, preparing timely and accurate expense reports, and drafting written proposals for events and trade shows. Set and monitor progress on goals, strategies for the next 120 days, and tonnage updates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all entities involved in commerce, including distributors, contractors, and other stakeholders, to influence sales, gather information, and provide market details. Relationships are defined as a personal connection between all entities that engage in commerce.

Qualifications
  • Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Northeast Territory.
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the territory and to national locations as needed.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the plumbing, construction, or related industry.
  • At least five years of proven sales experience, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.
  • Must maintain an excellent driving record in accordance with McWane’s company vehicle policy.
  • Strong technical aptitude with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
