Job Description

We are looking for a commercially oriented in-house counsel to support all matters relating to business law within the scope of EasyVista Group, primarily focusing on transactional matters for North America. Responsibilities include advising business units, managing compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position is reporting to the VP, Legal Affairs.

In particular, you will be involved in the following tasks

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (licensing agreements, T&Cs, NDAs, partnerships, distribution agreements, etc.).
  • Supporting EasyVista employees on various business law matters and RFP/tender requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance and personal data protection.
  • Supporting corporate law activities with external counsels and post-close integration activities, ensuring seamless transitions and addressing legal integration requirements.

 

PROFILE

Diploma: JD degree or Canadian LLL/LLB, with bar admission in at least one U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction, or master’s degree in business/commercial law in Europe. Location is open to discussion.

You have at least a five to ten years’ successful experience as in-house, preferably in the software/SaaS sector or with an exposure to US government procurement rules. You have a definite taste for new technologies and in view of EasyVista’ s international activity, you are fluent in both spoken and written English, as well as another language as Spanish, German, Italian or Portuguese.

You have good writing and communication skills. You are business-oriented, proactive, pragmatic and enjoy working in a team to find operational solutions.
