We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team supporting multiple distributed environments. In this role, you’ll play a key part in migrating data centers to AWS Cloud, designing infrastructure architecture, and ensuring system stability through ongoing management, monitoring, and maintenance. You’ll also contribute by evaluating new technologies and recommending process improvements.

PROJECT

The platform focuses on developing and maintaining a middleware application for the independent automotive aftermarket. This solution enables seamless integration with end-user IT infrastructure and supports bi-directional product catalog updates, ensuring efficient data exchange. Designed for B2B integration scenarios, the platform supports real-time data processing and synchronization across various environments. It includes REST APIs, locally running Windows services, and some Front-end components, forming a robust bridge between systems and streamlining workflows within the automotive ecosystem.

Job Description
  • Participate in the planning of system environment and infrastructure architecture
  • Design, configure, test, and maintain project infrastructure
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using the Infrastructure as Code approach
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate related project processes
  • Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and log management solutions to ensure system visibility and reliability
  • Proactively identify, prevent, and minimize incidents, ensuring timely resolution when issues occur
  • Troubleshoot system and network performance issues, addressing root causes to maintain functionality and stability
  • Provide recommendations on tools, technologies, and procedures that align with business needs and improve security, availability, cost-efficiency, and manageability
  • Act as a consultant to the development team on infrastructure-related topics and best practices
  • Create and maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation, including system diagrams and inventory records
  • Continuously optimize existing infrastructure environments
  • Collaborate with security, IT, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and reliable products

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • Over 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS
  • Strong Linux user with more than 3 years of practical experience with Ubuntu, CentOS, AWS Linux, and Alpine
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps and Windows Servers
  • Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Kubernetes
  • Proven experience with logging systems (ELK stack, OpenSearch) and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch)
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB), including setup and configuration
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools: Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt
  • Strong understanding of containerization concepts (Docker, Docker Compose, Docker Registry) and orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Solid networking knowledge (VPN, TCP/IP, OSI model, SSH) and familiarity with security configuration principles (NAT, load balancers)
  • Good knowledge and practical experience with web and application servers (Apache, Nginx)
  • Experienced user of Confluence
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with other cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
  • Completed relevant DevOps certifications
