We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer with high-load expertise to help scale our infrastructure as the team grows and the platform evolves.

CUSTOMER

The Customer is a US-based cybersecurity company specializing in bot mitigation and ad fraud prevention. They deliver enterprise-grade solutions to some of the world’s largest publishers, platforms, and marketers, ensuring a safer online experience through cutting-edge detection technologies.

PROJECT

The project focuses on developing a real-time threat detection and prevention platform for digital advertising. It involves maintaining high availability, scalability, and performance of security tools that monitor, analyze, and block fraudulent advertising behavior across complex traffic environments.

Job Description

Maintain and update existing infrastructure components, while implementing new technologies and solutions
Optimize infrastructure management to minimize manual effort and ensure cost efficiency
Replace infrastructure components in line with evolving business requirements
Collaborate closely with engineers to support scalability and infrastructure needs
Proactively identify areas for improvement across the infrastructure stack from DevOps to Back-end components
Design solutions to enhance performance and developer experience
Monitor critical production systems and help identify root causes of issues
Play a key role in ensuring the performance and reliability of systems serving millions of users every second

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
Proven ability to manage large-scale infrastructures, including environments scaling up to 3,000 instances per day and handling virtual machine fleets ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 VMs
Proven track record of working on high-load enterprise projects and managing critical infrastructure needs
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on reducing manual processes through automation
Solid understanding of infrastructure cost optimization techniques and security best practices
Strong experience with Amazon Web Services 
Practical experience in scripting using Python and Bash 
Good knowledge of non-relational databases such as OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB
Experience with Terraform and Docker
Strong monitoring skills using tools such as Grafana and VictoriaMetrics
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, and GitLab
Advanced networking knowledge, including firewall management, load balancers, VPC, Route 53, and Cloud DNS

Would be a plus:  

Experience with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and IaC tools like Ansible
Familiarity with Helm and ArgoCD for CI/CD
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with serverless infrastructure services such as Cloud Functions and Cloud Run
Additional database experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis
