Roles & Responsibilites 

Sales & Client Relationship Management

  • Sell Boomer Consulting's peer community memberships to qualified accounting firms through consultative and strategic sales techniques.
  • Cultivate new and existing vendor relationships to sell sponsorship opportunities for Boomer programs, events, and platforms.
  • Understand the unique needs of prospects and match them with appropriate services and communities.
  • Manage a high volume of prospect interactions and maintain clear follow-up strategies to advance the sales pipeline.

Event & Conference Engagement

  • Represent Boomer Consulting at accounting industry events and conferences to strengthen relationships, meet new prospects, and generate sponsorship leads.
  • Schedule and conduct on-site meetings with clients and vendors to enhance face-to-face relationship-building.

Sales Process Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal consultants and the broader Growth Team to support a team-based sales strategy.
  • Set consultants up for success by sharing insights into client needs prior to onsite engagements or peer community meetings.
  • Collaborate on the sponsorship sales, including identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities.

CRM & Proposal Development

  • Use HubSpot to maintain accurate and timely sales records, including pipeline management, contact history, and reporting.
  • Prepare and manage sales agreements.
  • Lead follow-up calls and proposal discussions to support long-term client and vendor relationships.
  • Deliver updates during weekly staff & growth meetings regarding prospecting activity, proposal development, and closed deals.

Experienece 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field, or associate's degree with relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or client-facing relationship management. Experience working with professional services, public accounting, or vendor service accounting firms is a plus
  • Experience using HubSpot or other CRM tools for managing leads, tracking activity, and generating reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in Google Suite.
  • Proven success in consultative sales with strong communication, organization, and self-management skills to handle multiple client relationships independently.
  • Experience in community or sponsorship sales, vendor or partner relationship management, and a passion for connecting people with long-term, value-driven solutions.


Remote Work & Collaboration

  • Remote position with standard office hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time, Monday through Friday—flexible as needed based on team and client needs
  • Travel Required: Estimated 15-20% travel to industry events, conferences, and internal team collaboration
  • Candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
