Title:
QA Test EngineerWe are looking for a QA Tester/Test Engineer to assess software quality through manual and automated testing to support the CBM+ (Condition-Based Maintenance Plus) program at NSWC Crane. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.
As a member of the CBM+, Systems Engineering & Integration Testing (SEIT) team, the Test Engineer will take direction from the SEIT team lead while being responsible for comprehensive front-end and back-end testing efforts. Currently serving as the sole test engineer on the program, this role will play a critical part in growing and scaling the testing function as the system evolves.

Location: It is preferred that candidates reside within 2 hours of Crane, Indiana. Flexible remote workplace setting.
Travel Requirements: Infrequent, up to 25%
Compensation: $81,000-122,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
