The Role: Eon Navigator


The Eon Navigator plays a vital role in supporting healthcare organizations by ensuring accurate entry and tracking of radiology reports through the Eon platform. This position focuses on data review, quality assurance, and operational coordination to facilitate adherence to client-approved protocols and guidelines.

The Eon Navigator position offers two levels, providing an opportunity for internal growth and development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound communications with patients and providers, facilitating timely follow-up appointments and supporting adherence to recommended care pathways.
  • Verify AI-generated findings, confirm data accuracy, and enter follow-up recommendations into the Eon platform using established, client-approved clinical guideline decision aids.

What You Will Do

  • Review and validate AI-flagged radiology reports, focusing on incidental findings and screening program enrollments.
  • Accurately register radiology reports and follow-up recommendations into the Eon platform using established, client-approved clinical decision aids.
  • Adhere strictly to standardized workflows and quality protocols.
  • Document findings and updates in the Eon platform to support seamless care coordination.
  • Conduct structured outbound calls to patients and providers to coordinate overdue or upcoming follow-up care.
  • Follow standardized call scripts and workflows to ensure quality, compliance, and patient/provider satisfaction.
  • Manage inbound calls, addressing basic scheduling or care coordination inquiries professionally.
  • Update patient records with new information obtained during interactions.
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies, unclear findings, or complex inquiries to the appropriate healthcare provider or supervisor.
  • Apply clearly defined criteria to deactivate patients within the Eon platform when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to uphold data accuracy, system integrity, and efficiency.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvements within the Care Management department.


What You Will Bring

  • Associate degree in a healthcare-related field preferred (e.g., Health Information Management, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency with Apple MacBook and Google Suite (preferred).
  • Foundational knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
  • Background in healthcare data entry, quality assurance, or oncology-related roles (preferred but not required).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured protocols and guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to communicate empathetically with patients and providers.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining adherence to performance standards and protocols.

What This Role Is Not


This role does not involve: Clinical decision-making, direct patient care or application of independent clinical judgment.
The Eon Navigator operates strictly within the scope of data validation and operational oversight, supporting care management initiatives through quality assurance and data integrity processes.

 

Hourly Pay range: $24.04-$31.25
