About the Role
Our Alliance team is expanding and we’re looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our vast community of solvers to drive our success of the AWS partnership. The Alliance team brings our purpose to life by helping organisations understand the impact of digital on customer experience, operations, and business models. We translate this understanding into practical digital and technology strategies. Our team develops vendor-agnostic technology platform blueprints and shapes cloud transformation agendas.
You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
- Exceptional experience in business development, either in the capacity of alliance / channel sales or strategic/enterprise account executives in the AWS ecosystem
- Experience in tenders/RFP, and delivery for large digital transformation programs
- Managing AWS funding application processes, or similar incentive structures
- The ability to work in high pressure environments and deliver on tight deadlines
- Verve and gravitas to hold senior stakeholders and management to account for project delivery
- Arranging executive-level events, luncheons and roundtables & events in the AWS ecosystem such as Summit, Innovation Day, Immersion Day
- Operations, program management and sales principles, project and time management, strategic thinking and can balance this with know how to execute
- Financial and business acumen, strong data analysis and visualisation skills and can comfortably use Salesforce reporting and dashboards and are digitally proficient in platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Suite for work
- Professional services and ideally, consulting with a working knowledge of pursuits, sales cycles and sales operations
- An interest in AI, cloud computing and cloud transformation; Any AWS cloud certifications or accreditation of training will be a plus
In our Alliance team, your impact will be seen by:
- Driving and contributing to our business planning and strategy for the AWS/PwC alliance. This includes business planning with AWS, PwC Advisory and other Lines of Service
- Driving strategic sales leads liaising with key stakeholders within PwC, and AWS, qualifying opportunities, converting them into proposals and supporting key deal closing
- Project managing and driving the tactical execution and management of major/critical operations work streams across the alliance, such as sales reporting, development of best practices, managing consistent tools and technology leveraged across the program, and knowledge management/document repository
- Leveraging a working knowledge of Salesforce and other PwC systems to help design and execute tailored enablement programs across the region to support growth strategies and certification uplifts
- Driving and supporting growth strategy and AWS certification uplift programs
- Helping to ensure we continue to improve our Alliance partner status & certification levels are maintained and maximised, with regular quarterly reporting to Alliance partner (AWS) drafted for internal and external review
- Developing and leveraging standardised tools, templates, and best practices supporting regional operations, identifying and supporting process improvement activities
- Maintaining and running regional program operational rhythm alongside local alliance leaders
- Supporting the expansion of knowledge management capabilities in region and globally to assist pursuit teams in leveraging key content in strategic deals and communicating success back to the alliance, including the development and ongoing maintenance of client credentials, go-lives, and customer success stories
- Ensuring that alliance relationships are mapped across the region at top to top, middle to middle, and bottom to bottom levels
