Position Overview:
As a Project Manager at BOXX Modular, you will have the unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your home office, with the flexibility to live anywhere in Arizona or New Mexico. You’ll be overseeing the execution of key projects, ensuring they are completed on time, withiOk an budget, and with the highest quality standards. In this role, you will play an integral part in leading a dedicated team of Superintendents, Project Coordinators, subcontractors, and external partners to ensure our projects succeed.
Reporting to the Sr Project Manager, the Project Manager will monitor and oversee safety, cost, schedule, QA/QC, and execution of work on various projects within your assigned area of responsibility. Provide leadership, training and direction to your assigned Superintendents, project coordinators, subconsultants and subcontractors as required. Ensure punctual reporting for both internal and external specified reports. Within budget and to the quality specified. The Project Manager provides leadership and serves as the liaison between project team members and external partners to promote the interest of BOXX Modular and its customers in all matters. The Project Manager is the primary leader for the construction project and will perform all duties at a high level of professionalism and moral standards, ensuring that the projects’ goals of safety, cost and schedule are maintained throughout the work.
Key Responsibilities:

Safety First: Lead and coordinate safety efforts for major projects, ensuring compliance with BOXX Modular’s safety standards and client expectations. Conduct risk and incident reviews as necessary.

Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of project management including material purchasing, vendor relations, cost estimates, and contract management. Ensure timely completion of quality projects while maintaining financial oversight.

Team Collaboration: Mentor and lead your team, including Superintendents, Coordinators, and subcontractors. Maintain efficient project documentation, and attend meetings to ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders.

Schedule & Budget Management: Create, maintain, and manage project schedules, ensuring all construction activities are sequenced properly for maximum efficiency. Ensure all projects are on budget and within scope.

Travel & On-site Presence: Engage in regular travel to project sites and meetings, with occasional overnight stays as needed to ensure smooth project operations and stakeholder engagement.
What We’re Looking For:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction, or modular industry

Minimum 2 years in managing commercial modular constrcution projects, in a Project Manager role in a or similar leadership capacity.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Strong communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to professionally engage with internal and external teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project) and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Valid Class C driver’s license and a clean driving record.

The ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol tests and a criminal background check.
