Bagira is looking for an FSP to join our team at Bagira.

As a Field service person, you will work on our highly scalable, multi-disciplinary complex systems, collaborating with professionals across the different units of Bagira, perform system maintenance and provide customer support as needed.

What will your job look like

  • Preparing new setups (wiring, hardware configurations, firmware, and OS installations etc.)
  • Performing maintenance and support at customer sites worldwide
  • Learning, investigating, testing, and implementing new equipment and firmware, into existing environments
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery and product performance.
  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance (Tier 3)
  • Working closely with our technical teams (architects, developers, PMs, and POs) to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, replicating customer environments and network problems as needed.
  • Travel to customer locations as required, sometimes on short notice.

Requirements

  • Previously experience as Integration\Application Engineer, IT System Administrator, Professional Services OR recent graduate in Computer Science/Information Systems/equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of operating systems (Windows – A must, Linux - Advantage)
  • High technical troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  • Familiarity with SQL basic queries
  • Knowledge and understanding of network topology - An advantage
  • Ability to write technical and procedures documentation - An advantage
  • High-level English, additional languages are an advantage.
