We produce a variety of resources focused on the needs of professionals who manage learning and development strategy, and utilize learning technologies to design and deliver learning solutions with the goal of improving individual and organizational performance. The Guild leverages its global community to produce a robust sales and marketing channel for industry suppliers that includes digital lead generation opportunities, as well as industry-leading events.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

CloserStill Media is seeking an energetic, creative, and data-driven manager to drive relationship growth with both current key accounts, and new business development with Fortune 1000 prospects. The manager will be responsible for executing the company’s strategy for increasing digital memberships that provide access to robust online offerings, and identifying additional opportunities to increase attendee groups at in-person events. You will prospect using the Learning Guild database and Hubspot, identifying targets, performing outreach via email and calls, building rapport with learning and development team leaders, and pitching and closing on membership plans and group registrations.

THE ROLE:

  • Target and recruit companies to attend our industry leading events, with a focus on key accounts: Fortune 1000 and new business.
  • Lead the awareness to sales journey from initial contact to close.
  • Utilize your research prowess to strategically approach prospects.
  • Act as the main point of contact between key accounts and internal teams.
  • Success in this role will be measured by KPIs, and membership and delegate revenue growth.
  • Drive continuous engagement year-round with key accounts.
  • Maintain and update client information in the database.
  • Track, analyze, and report on outcomes to the Event Director, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision making and future strategies.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 2+ years experience in media company / event ticket sales, or subscription-based product sales. Recruiters will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in LinkedIn, Google, and other social platforms for prospecting. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo and HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Collaborative spirit, with strong rapport building and strong customer service instincts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English). Ability to build rapport with prospects.
  • Ability to produce creative and clear email communications.
  • Ability to develop a successful sales pitch, and conduct traditional and video-based calls with customers.
  • Strong project management skills, meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the learning and corporate training industry a plus.
  • Successful experience in a remote work environment; internet speed between 50 to 100 Mbps required.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to events and meetings 2 to 4 times a year, plus client visits as needed.
