MateHR, a global recruitment agency specializing in IT roles, is currently seeking a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist on behalf of our client, a cutting-edge Web3 gamified rewards platform. This innovative platform enables users to stake tokens and earn a diverse range of rewards, including high-end gadgets, exclusive trips, digital collectables, and cryptocurrency airdrops. Following a successful product launch, our client aims to significantly grow their active user base this year and seeks a dedicated QA Specialist to help ensure a flawless user experience.

Role Overview: As a QA Specialist, you'll ensure product reliability and smooth user experience by conducting comprehensive testing and bug investigation. You'll be responsible for creating effective testing checklists based on documentation, performing smoke tests, and investigating issues reported both internally and by the community. This role requires analytical thinking, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication with development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and execute test cases and/or checklists based on available documentation.
• Prepare and conduct smoke tests prior to product releases.
• Investigate and diagnose bugs, utilizing blockchain explorers and front-end/back-end systems to assist developers with rapid issue resolution.
• Provide basic database investigation through SQL queries.
• Address and verify issues flagged by community managers, responding timely to occasional community reports.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 2+ years of experience as a manual QA specialist.
• Background in startups or software development product companies preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for investigating database-related issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage tasks proactively and independently.

Nice-to-Have:

• Previous experience or interest in blockchain technology.
• Interest in learning or expanding into test automation (not required initially).

Working Conditions:

• Fully remote, collaborating within European time zones.
