Job description

The Education team at Lightcast is laser-focused on helping institutions foster learner career success. Our products help institutions gather alumni data and then use that in combination with labor market data to create insights that drive new academic program development, help institutions attract and retain learners, and support those learners in career and academic decision-making. Our alumni survey products, NACM and Embark, are used by institutions to understand the “first destination” of their recent graduates and their career outcomes and sentiments five and 10 years after graduation.

As a Survey Project Manager for Alumni Surveys, you will work directly with higher education clients administering alumni surveys taking them from onboarding to data delivery. You’ll serve as a strategic partner sharing survey best practices. You’ll guide institutions through their resulting data, helping them to make meaning and plan actions. Throughout, you’ll manage the details: tracking survey progress, keeping clients on schedule, addressing errors, and surfacing opportunities for improvement of the survey program.

Why You’ll Love This Role:
  • You’ll build relationships with higher education partners across the country. Your work will feed into national reports that drive standards in higher education and you’ll help shape a future of higher education that orients around learner career success.
  • You’ll have opportunities to continually expand your skill set while actively contributing to the evolution of our operational processes. Here, personal and professional growth are not just encouraged but celebrated.
  • You'll join a close-knit team that prioritizes collaboration, support, and fun as key components of our work culture.

  • Why We’ll Love You:
  • With 2+ years of experience in higher education administration, career services, and/or assessment, you bring expertise and perspective that will help us grow and evolve our alumni surveys, increasing their accuracy, growing their impact, and improving the experience of survey administrators and respondents. Experience with First Destination Surveys is a big plus.
  • You’re an Excel wizard, adept with data, and have survey administration experience using Qualtrics, Alchemer, or similar tools.
  • You’re a data evangelist. Your passion for using data to tell stories and drive decisions is infectious.
  • You’re an excellent communicator who builds strong, trusted relationships. You take a consultative approach, understanding your clients’ needs and goals and developing tailored approaches to support them.
  • You’re comfortable balancing multiple workstreams and building process where it’s needed. Your ability to see the bigger picture helps you prioritize and work efficiently.
  • Your attention to detail means you can manage survey projects with lots of moving parts, addressing errors and meeting deadlines.
  • If you don't think you meet all of the job criteria and are still interested in the job, please apply! We know a diverse workforce enriches us with the talent, perspective, and inspiration needed to achieve our mission. Nobody checks every box, and we're looking for someone excited to join our team.
  • Lightcast is a global leader in labor market insights with headquarters in Moscow (ID) with offices in the United Kingdom, Europe, and India.  We work with partners across six continents to help drive economic prosperity and mobility by providing the insights needed to build and develop our people, our institutions and companies, and our communities.
