Senior Python/SAS Clinical Programmer

The Senior Programmer role is an exciting opportunity within our sponsor-dedicated department, allowing you to build a strong, unique partnership with our client. You will focus on the development and implementation of programming solutions using the Saama platform to address global technical services issues and optimize clinical data processes.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of clinical solutions for EDC tools (e.g., Medidata Rave) and Python/SAS programming issues.

  • Serve as SME and primary contact for technical services related to EDC systems and Python/SAS programming.

  • Design and develop visual analytics dashboards using tools like Spotfire and Tableau.

  • Manage and oversee study programming activities: planning, resource estimation, timelines, and client communication.

  • Perform and document post-production changes to EDC databases and Python/SAS programs (edit checks, listings, deviations).

Your profile

  • University or college degree in IT or a related discipline

  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Saama programming, SAS/Python programming, or dashboard development (Spotfire/Tableau)

  • Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive, independent work ethic

  • Knowledge of clinical trial processes, data management, and biometrics preferred
