Nursing Academic Program Director

The Nursing Academic Program Director serves as the nursing leader over the BSN program, with the responsibility to provide vision, oversight, and direction for the curriculum to ensure academic quality and student success.
The Nursing Academic Program Director is responsible for identifying, assessing, and presenting issues around curriculum development, program review, learning outcome assessment, and the academic health of the BSN program. The Nursing Academic Program Director is responsible for developing content required for Board of Nursing reviews and CCNE programmatic accreditation, working collaboratively with the School of Nursing’s Accreditation and Evaluation Coordinator and the University’s Accreditation team.
The Nursing Academic Program Director must regularly engage with faculty teaching in the designated program to ensure student success and satisfaction based on the highest-quality academic programming.

Reporting Relationships:
The Nursing Academic Program Director reports to the Assistant Vice President for Nursing Systems and collaborates with the Vice President and Associate Chief Nursing Academic Officer of Nursing and other members of the School of Nursing.
