Join us as a Finance Assistant in our growing Finance Division team! 🚀
The role:
We are looking for someone to join our finance team on a remote basis. As the needs of the business evolve and we continue to grow, there may be opportunities for the role to expand into other areas of finance with increasing levels of responsibility.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for delivering accounting, financial and administrative support to the finance function and the wider company.
Some key areas you’ll be working on:
Important to have:
Proven experience in a bookkeeping or similar finance role, ideally within a UK-based business
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; including excellent numeracy, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Competent in G-Suite tools or Office equivalent
Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software, particularly Xero
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Methodical with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in finance-related roles or supporting financial operations
Desirable Experience:
Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualified or working towards or completed a similar accounting qualification
Experience in a small busy team for a fast moving company
Experience of using Salesforce or other CRM systems
Knowledge of multi-currency transactions
Experience in the technology or professional services industry
Experience working with a US or multinational company
Familiarity with payroll and pension processing
