Position Summary
KIND seeks a dedicated and talented Social Media Associate to support KIND's Communications Team in promoting our mission-driven organization as a leader in protecting immigration and refugee children. The Social Media Associate at KIND will be at the forefront of amplifying our mission to protect unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children. The incumbent is pivotal in crafting, executing, and evaluating impactful digital content strategies and campaigns, with a special focus on social media. The incumbent will play a crucial role in advancing our commitment to defending the rights of every child on their journey to safety. As part of KIND's Digital Team, the Social Media Associate will work closely with KIND’s Digital Media Manager and play a crucial role in creating content that resonates with our target audiences and drives meaningful engagement.
This a headquarters position based remotely from any location in the U.S.
Essential FunctionsSupports and executes comprehensive paid and organic social media campaigns with the goal of increasing brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and audience growth across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Facebook. Utilizes analytic tools to extract reports for both paid and organic campaigns, contributing to strategy refinement and performance analysis. Manages and cultivates a thriving community on social platforms, fostering engagement and interaction. Collaborates with design and content teams to create multimedia assets for various social platforms. Ensures consistent messaging and brand representation across all digital platforms.Collaborate with internal teams to synchronize digital efforts with broader organizational initiatives. Stays abreast of current trends, research algorithms, and understand evolving best practices in social media management. Analyzes, tracks, and measures performance against KPI’s and report on annual and quarterly social media performance. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and RequirementsGraduate degree in related field, Digital Marketing, Communications, Advertising. Minimum of 2 years of experience in building and growing a brand through social media and managing a social media calendar, campaigns, and paid ad accounts. Must be fully fluent in English. Spanish fluency preferred but not required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (such as Teams, Excel, etc.)Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task in our KIND environment, managing numerous priorities and emerging opportunities.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment; ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate.Ability to collaborate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds, lived experiences, and communication styles.Commitment to prioritizing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, as well as embracing transparency and authenticity in daily work life.
