We are currently looking for a Public Sector Account Manager to join our mission to save lives and prevent injuries.
Position Highlights: The public sector sales account manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth by selling products and services to government agencies and other public sector organizations. The ideal candidate will have prior federal or military experience, coupled with a deep understanding of government procurement processes and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles at the federal, state, and local levels. What You’ll Do:
Develop and manage relationships with key decision makers in public sector organizations
Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory or accounts
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
Negotiate contracts and close deals with government clients
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions
Stay updated on government procurement processes, regulations, and industry trends
Forecast sales pipeline and report on sales activities and results
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
We’re Looking for Someone with:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a related field
5+ years of progressive experience in B2B or public sector sales
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
In-depth knowledge of government sales cycles and procurement processes
Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strategic, long-term relationships with C-suite decision-makers and senior leadership within federal, state, and local government agencies.
Experience selling software, technology, or professional services preferred
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to build relationships at executive levels
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
Willingness to travel as needed
This is a remote position
Salary is: $118,000 base with sales incentive plan
