Job description

Graphic Designer / Marketing Specialist

 

This full-time position is remote and works directly with the entertainment marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Director & Vice President. The Graphic Designer / Marketing Specialist is fundamentally responsible for all Graphic Design & will help to implement marketing strategies, using multiple channels, including print, websites, social networks, forums, paid social advertising, and utilizing written content. This position will assist in increasing web and social awareness for corporate and multiple affiliated brands. Providing awareness to services and expertise, executing on key aspects of company wide and affiliated brand content strategy, and will play a critical role in supporting venue operations.

 

Responsibilities:

       Determine creative needs and create design requirements

       Schedule, manage, and deliver multiple projects meeting defined budget constraints

       Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software (i.e. Adobe CC, Wix, WordPress)

       Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

       Evolve brand visuals and implement the latest design trends

       Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

       Collaborate with leadership to produce final designs

       Test graphics across various media

       Amend designs after feedback

       Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

 



Requirements

Requirements:

       Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related discipline is highly preferred

       At least five years of related work experience

       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

       Expert in Microsoft Office Suite and design software

       Ability to work independently on an assignment and as a member of a team

       Proven graphic design experience 

       A strong profile of work showing a wide range of creative projects

       Proficient with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Wix)

       A keen eye for aesthetics and details

       Excellent communication skills

       Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

       Degree in design, fine arts, or a related field

       Self-starter

       Excellent file organization

       Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred

       Photography and Videography experience preferred

       Minimum of five years of experience in graphic design
