The Large Group Sales Executive - Group Medicare fully understands all product lines, sells to targeted clients, and identifies potential new clients in a specified territory or geographic area. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of business-to-business sales experience.
Active health insurance license.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Entrepreneurial and self-sufficient.
Proven sales success in the health and wellness solutions industry.
Ability to travel regularly, by land and air, throughout defined sales region.
This role is part of Humana's driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and are expected to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance. Individual must carry vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Experience selling Medicare Advantage products.
Active life insurance license.
Prior sales experience in the health and wellness solutions industry working with large group segment brokers and employers.
Experience working with public sector and/or labor organizations.
Additional Information
This role will cover the Western region territory.
Travel up to 50% with possible weekend and overnight stays.
