The Role
We’re looking for a sharp, resourceful, and outbound-obsessed Business Development Representative to help fuel Aspire’s growth engine. This role is all about creating pipeline, identifying high-potential accounts, breaking into them with strategic outreach, and generating qualified opportunities for our sales team.
As a BDR, you’ll partner closely with Sales and Revenue leadership to refine outbound strategies, test new messaging, and ensure Aspire is in the room with the right decision-makers. This is a high-impact, foundational role with clear performance metrics and a structured path to grow into an Account Executive position, based on strong performance and business needs.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Outbound Prospecting: Research and identify high-fit DTC and B2C brands and agencies that align with our ICP. Build and maintain a robust top-of-funnel pipeline.
- Cold Outreach Execution: Launch and iterate on targeted outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and phone, to create conversations and book qualified meetings for AEs.
- Discovery and Qualification: Lead initial discovery calls where needed to assess fit, understand brand goals, and set up AEs with context and momentum.
- Account Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to prioritize target account lists and refine messaging frameworks that speak to brand pain points and market dynamics.
- Continuous Optimization: Work closely with Sales and Marketing to analyze response rates, meeting conversion, and win data to optimize outbound tactics.
- Sales Skill Development: Sharpen your sales acumen through regular coaching, shadowing, and structured feedback with a clear roadmap to promotion.
What We’re Looking For:
- Outbound Drive: You’re hungry to book meetings and break into accounts that matter. You see cold outreach as a game worth mastering.
- Execution-Oriented: You’re disciplined with your time, methodical in your workflow, and relentless in your follow-up.
- Sales Potential: Whether you’re just starting out or have some experience, you’re aiming for a quota-carrying role and ready to learn fast.
- Resilience & Grit: Rejection doesn’t faze you. You see “no” as a step toward “yes.”
- Curious & Coachable: You’re eager to improve and take feedback as a gift. You ask smart questions, and you apply what you learn quickly.
- Bonus Points: Prior exposure to SaaS, eCommerce, or marketing technology sales. Experience running outbound campaigns, even informally.
Why This Role Matters:
Outbound is the lifeblood of our sales team. As a BDR, your impact is measurable and immediate—you’ll be the one opening the doors that drive revenue, build pipeline, and shape the future of our go-to-market strategy.
