Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and technically savvy Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This role will focus on crafting go-to-market strategies across various cybersecurity technology domains, enabling sales teams with critical knowledge and tools, and accelerating revenue growth through innovative solutions and services. You will serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and clients, bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business value.
Duties and Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plans for key cybersecurity domains including network security, cloud security, identity & access management, endpoint protection, and threat detection & response.
- Collaborate with product management, marketing, and practice leads to position cybersecurity offerings in alignment with market trends and customer demand.
- Define value propositions, competitive differentiation, and solution packaging for targeted verticals and customer segments.
Sales Enablement:
- Train and empower sales teams with technical knowledge, tools, battle cards, and customer-facing content to drive cybersecurity solution adoption.
- Conduct workshops, demos, and knowledge sessions to ensure sales readiness across the portfolio.
- Partner with marketing to create collateral, whitepapers, and thought leadership content that supports field activities.
Business Development & Growth:
- Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities in cybersecurity services, software, and managed offerings.
- Support the sales cycle by engaging with clients to understand their security challenges and map solutions that address them.
- Assist in proposal development, RFP responses, and customer presentations with a technical and strategic focus.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or commensurate, relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales, solution architecture, or GTM strategy role.
- Proven experience developing and executing GTM plans within technology or consulting firms.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, architectures, and technologies (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, Zero Trust, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) and vendor certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, etc.) are a plus.
