Senior Telecom Cloud Engineer - Webscale/Openshift/Openstack

Job Title: Senior Telecom Cloud Engineer 

BlueAlly is actively interviewing for a Sr. Cloud engineer highly experienced in Telecom Cloud and Infrastructure to join our growing Telcom & Broadband practice.

This role is a full time, remote position, with occasional travel but the selected candidate MUST reside in the Central or Eastern Time Zones inside the US.

Required skills:

• MUST have experience delivering complex, scalable and cloud-native network solutions specializing in WebScale, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat OpenStack, Kubernetes, virtualization and network function deployment across different networks.  

• MUST have extensive hands-on experience in deploying, configuring and administering WebScale, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat OpenStack and Linux-based systems.

• MUST have strong understanding of telecom technologies, including network infrastructure, wireless communication, and data transmission.

• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills with a proactive approach to incident resolution, performance monitoring and technical leadership. 

• Experienced in troubleshooting networking and protocol-layer issues, managing hybrid cloud environments and delivering documentation for both engineering and executive stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications:  

• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.

• Documentation: Create and maintain thorough project documentation, status reports, and ticket updates.

• Project Management Tools: Proficiency in JIRA and similar tools

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

• Client Focus: Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships and delivering results that meet or exceed client expectations.
