TSPi seeks Quality Assurance Tester. The Quality Assurance Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products within the Information and Media Services industry. This position involves meticulously testing software applications to identify defects and ensure they meet the specified requirements and standards. The tester will collaborate closely with developers and project managers to understand project specifications and provide feedback on usability and functionality. By executing test cases and documenting results, the Quality Assurance Tester will contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality and user experience. Ultimately, this role is vital in maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing the test design and test scripts documents for the requirements.
Preparing Test data for the complicated scenarios.
Working on JIRA to write TC’s and project management tasks.
Providing estimation for the tasks in Agile environment.
Attending daily standup, Team meetings, Designer review meetings, product support, Sprint Demo, Retrospective meetings and all meetings happening during product release.
Defect detection, Defect reporting and defect tracking. Identifying the relationships between the tables and keys.
Writing complex Join and sub queries to verify the backend data.
Performing functionality, Integration and regression and End to End tests.
Performing QA sanity check during the Production deployments.
Testing Web Services in SWAGGER and CS-API's.
Automating services in Ready API tool. Using Bitbucket to merge automated codes and other usage.
Troubleshooting errors and Providing logs for technical issues.
Testing application in multiple environments.
Assisting other QA and team members as needed.
Training new QA people. Cultivating, supporting, and promoting an organizational culture that provides for high performance, high morale, collaboration, and innovation.
Skills Required:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Quality Testing and Assurance
Computer Information Systems, Chemistry, or related, or foreign equivalent and 2 years of experience in related occupations.
Requires a Pega and Safe Certification.
Requires 2 years of experience with the following: Jira; Bitbucket; SWAGGER; and CS-API.
