Job Description

We are looking for a skilled AI Agent Engineer to join one of our high-impact client teams. This role involves building intelligent assistants and LLM-driven applications for both internal and client-facing use cases. You’ll work directly with a Lead AI Architect to create scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, craft modular workflows using OpenAI tools, and contribute to a cutting-edge AI product roadmap.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Lead AI Architect to design and build multiple internal and external AI agents.
  • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using content from PDFs, Notion pages, and spreadsheets.
  • Write clean, scalable Python code to orchestrate LLM-driven workflows.
  • Integrate OpenAI models (e.g., GPT-4 / GPT-4o) using function calling, without relying on external APIs.
  • Optionally, build lightweight Streamlit applications or CLI tools for agent deployment and testing.

  




Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience building LLM agents, copilots, or intelligent assistants using LangChain, LangFlow, or OpenAI Assistants API.
  • Strong Python development skills with demonstrated experience in RAG pipeline architecture.
  • Proficiency with document parsing from various sources (PDFs, Notion exports, spreadsheets).
  • Solid grasp of prompt engineering, function design, and managing LLM outputs.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Chroma) and embedding models.
  • Front-end capabilities using tools like Streamlit are a plus.
  • Bonus: Experience with tools like Unstructured.io, python-docx, or observability platforms like LangSmith or Langfuse.

Contract Details:
This is a contract, full-time (40 hours/week) role for an initial term of 1–3 months, with a potential for longer-term extension based on performance and project growth.
