Overview


The role of Senior Director, Global Customer Engagement & Strategic Alliances will work with the marketing/commercial & medical teams to support the creation and execution of a comprehensive and unified enterprise-wide engagement plan to develop and solidify relationships with HCPs, professional societies (ASTCT, EBMT, COA), advocacy groups as well as support the activities of future commercial strategies.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Implement and communicate a unified, strategic framework for ongoing thought leader development/interactions ensuring consistency in external engagements and internal communication on a global scale. 
  • Partner with the VP, Medical Affairs to develop customer engagement strategies ensuring Commercial and Medical Affairs focus are aligned.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional partners (Commercial, Medical Affairs, Corporate Communication, payer teams and other relevant functions) to ensure efficient customer engagement and patient advocacy.
  • Support the creation, maintenance and socialization of a cell therapy thought leader and advocacy mapping database/engagement plan to ensure one repository for all TL strategies, tactics & engagements.
  • Provide strategic insight and marketplace information to the organization.
  • Lead in cross functional planning efforts with Commercial and Medical Affairs for customer interactions at key Global/National/Regional congresses and meetings to support one master plan for customer engagement in the cell therapy space. 
  • Support the efforts of global/national educational Initiatives, to include congress planning, Speakers Bureau, and advocacy groups; Attend & support at appropriate regional, national meetings.
  • Serve at primary point of contact between Iovance and EU, US national/regional advocacy organizations.
  • Assist the US Marketing Teams on the strategic objectives, content and planning relating to TLs and key customer relationships, training and support commercial launches; run point on tactics like consulting/ad boards/special projects for Iovance. 
  • Must adhere to Iovance Biotherapeutics’ core values, policies, procedures, and business ethics.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Travel – 50% as needed

 

Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge

  • BS degree required; 12+ year pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
  • Experience with launches hematology/transplant space; sales & hem/onc experience required.
  • Additional cross functional, field training, marketing role a plus.
  • Exceptional oncology/hematology clinical acumen.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify and foster enterprise level collaborations between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to connect and build a bridge between the triad of multiple specialties and key stakeholders. 
  • Exemplary leadership & influencing skills.
  • In-depth therapeutic and clinical knowledge in hematology/cellular therapy/transplant space.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
