At AutoStore, our customer relationships are our top priority. We’re looking for a dedicated and personable Strategic Account Manager to own the full customer strategy and lifecycle. This role involves maintaining our clients’ accounts, ensuring smooth operations, and serving as the main point of contact. This specific role will be focusing on the Medtech industry. The Strategic Account Manager will develop and implement strategic plans, drive growth, and collaborate with internal teams and partners to deliver exceptional service.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key global clients in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
- Act as the global primary point of contact for named strategic accounts.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Understand individual client long term strategic goals and monitor global market and economic trends to inform account strategy.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies, drive initiatives to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Coordinate with partners to drive joint sales initiatives and achieve mutual success.
- Work cross functionally to ensure projects are delivered successfully and continue to improve and provide value to customers.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure client and partner needs are met.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze account and partner performance metrics.
- Prepare regular reports on account and partner status and progress.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management or sales.
- Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Experience working with partner networks and resellers.
- Experience in the warehouse automation space, particularly with clients in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Multilingual skills are a plus.
