The Opportunity

The Product Governance Analyst will be a crucial role in supporting effective product management, compliance and reporting. The Product Governance Analyst will maintain processes, policies, and standards for overall product govenance. They will analyze processes, products, portfolio and data; recommend intelligence for design, functionality, enhancements and maintenance of Product Reports and Dashboards. This role will support product governance to ensure audit & compliance readiness using systems and strategies; work with work with business leaders, staff, and vendors to design and develop reports, dashboards, workflow, automation, system integration and other functionality as needed.

A Day In the Life

  • Support Product organization by understanding and documenting existing processes and procedures within the departmentServe as cross-functional collaborator bt engaging with multiple internal teams within and outside of Product organization to ensure product department processes are documented and up to date.

  • Outline and define product workflows.
  • Contribute to the development of product governance policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain centralized master product documentation location.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes, policies and practices for product governance ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory requirements while minimizing risk.
  • Understand regulatory and compliance requirement to produce and provide necessary documentation to support audit efforts and be the steward of the product and process documentation.
  • Periodically review and update existing documentation to adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain organizational and product knowledge in order to support department teams with process and documentation and reporting needs and requests.
  • Establish strong knowledge of product processes, stakeholders and key partners to facilitate knowledge sharing and process documenting.
  • Maintain product architecture documentation, and review mandates to ensure transparency, accountability, and shared understanding.
  • Faciliate and track key industry bulletin review process for strategic vendor partners and ensure timely delivery of required changes.
  • Assist in the set-up of department standards, controls and governance for internal teams and project sites and assist in the development of training for business users.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the product processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
  • Support the product governance and growth strategy by developing new, as well as ehnancing or optimizing existing product dashboards and product reporting.
  • Develop, design and maintain dashboards and reports templates and outputs, manages access and inventory of reports and dashboards, ensuring that they contain accurate, consistent, and understandable information.
  • Collaborate with other teams and subject matter experts to design and develop dashboards, interfaces, SharePoint sites, automation and workflow, and other functionality as required.
  • Understand the data ecosystem to leverage adequate resources to support reporting needs of the organization.
  • Analyze existing processes, products and systems and recommend improvements to reporting and dashboards and to ensure alignment with Velera branding data sources and product information.
  • Develop tools for efficient tracking of key product milestones and deliverables to ensure compliance, SLAs and accountability within the product organization.
  • Work with other teams and departments to eliminate duplicative outcomes and ensure optimized and efficient reporting and dashboard solutions.
  • Coordinate the gathering and documentation of requirements from users to facilitate design.
  • Provide end user support for troubleshooting issues and adressing advanced functionality questions; coordinate resolution with support vendors and staff as needed.
  • Analysis of existing reporting and dashboard deliverables and data to identify trends in performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Three (3) years experience in product reporting, analysis, or development required
  • Experience in financial services, card payments, banking, and related products and processes preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience with requirements gathering

    Pay Equity

    $67,700.00

    to

    $86,300.00

    Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
