Job Summary

We’re looking for a Credit Risk Admin Support for 6 months maternity cover; this is hybrid role which will include some working from home as well as some travel to our London office. Reporting to Enterprise Risk & Portfolio Manager the purpose of your role is to monitor e-mail account and respond to queries, work credit alerts including adverse actions, dissolved and liquidated company notices, review merchants that require faster funding and cardholder not present facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate risk profiles from information provided, or experience within the industry, understanding of chargebacks and refund data.
  • Complete credit reports, making recommendations, for approval by Senior Management
  • Complete due diligence checks for Corporate Merchant deals, including all applicable regulatory checks.
  • Work daily alerts provided by our credit bureaus
  • Deal with Merchants who have gone into Liquidation, liaising with Insolvency practitioners, completing Proof of claim requests.
  • Complete due diligence checks on our Third Parties, review policies and procedures and submit recommendations for approval within the Scheme guidelines.
  • Liaise with Sales, Compliance, Transaction Monitoring, chargeback Teams, Third party Agents and Merchants.



Qualifications & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in credit risk management within the financial services or fintech industry.
  • Excellent analytical & investigation skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively
  • Financial Analysis preferred but not essential
  • In-depth knowledge of UK and EU AML regulatory frameworks and related legislation requirements
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
  • Good organisational skills, comfortable in managing your own workload and being able to prioritise
