Our payment products include merchant acquiring services, a proprietary gateway, ACH processing, fraud & chargeback tools, analytics, and other value-add services. Maverick’s team includes underwriting, risk management, compliance & legal, technology & product development, on-boarding, customer support, information technology, and more.

About the Position: 
Reporting to the Director of Partner Success, the Partner Development Associate I provides support and business services to customers and partners, enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing revenues associated with merchant customers solicited by strategic business partners. 
  • Reviewing agent leads and, using independent judgment and discretion, making the initial determination as to whether pursuit of a relationship would be advantageous to Company, using independent judgment and discretion, within Company parameters.
  • Coordinating and assisting with client and partner product implementations, including, without limitation, training.
  • Creating relationships with day-to-day account contacts to identify and build trust, confidence, loyalty, and mutual benefit with various strategic partners.
  • Monitoring account and portfolio performance and reviewing the value of services provided to recommend enhancements and improvements in experience.
  • Facilitating revenue growth via product enhancements and service promotions.
  • Handling incoming calls from partners and working directly with external and internal personnel to resolve any complex or novel escalated issues which may arise within the relationship.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in merchant services or payment processing.
  • Experience with high-risk payment processing industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or another relevant field a plus!
  • Previous experience specific to partner support/partner relations a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products including Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of Card Brand rules and regulations.
  • Understanding of various verticals and associated risks.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, across multiple groups and Departments.
  • The ability to listen to others and communicate in an effective manner verbally and in written form.

Pay Range: $30-$35/hr. This position will consider remote work for candidates in the following states: AZ, CA (outside Los Angeles), CO, FL, GA, ID, IN, MA, MD, ME, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA
