Job Description: Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist 

Location: Remote (EST or CST zones only)

Position Summary 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist to join our Accounting team. This remote, full-time position is responsible for managing accounts receivable aging, conducting credit reviews for new and existing customers, and ensuring timely and accurate invoice submissions through customer portals. This role plays a critical part in maintaining healthy cash flow and fostering strong customer relationships. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances. 
• Perform credit evaluations and approvals for new and existing customers. 
• Upload invoices and related documentation to customer portals in a timely and accurate manner. 
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve billing or payment issues. 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ERP system (e.g., NetSuite). 
• Prepare and distribute AR aging reports and assist in cash flow forecasting. 
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, credit analysis, or related roles. 
• Experience with NetSuite and customer portal platforms.
• Experience in both commercial and federal sectors 
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
