JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically fluent project coordinator to support our data engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring we maintain our data pipeline development lifecycle runs smoothly through clear documentation, effective project tracking and release coordination. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of SQL, data pipeline concepts, and is comfortable working in a cloud environment; specifically Google Cloud.
Key responsibilities include: owning and maintaining Jira boards for day-to-day task management; managing and organizing Confluence documentation; facilitating project management duties including status reporting, meeting coordination, and follow-ups; coordinating release and capacity management across environments and teams; collaborating with engineers and analysts to ensure clarity and alignment on requirements and delivery; translating high-level business needs into detailed requirements; identifying and supporting process improvement opportunities; supporting analytical aspects of the application product life cycle; collaborating with customers to understand needs, gather specifications, create business cases and cost sheet analysis; and identifying, documenting, and resolving risks, defects, and issues.
The successful candidate will possess: a basic understanding of SQL and data concepts; familiarity with data pipelines and ELT/ETL lifecycles; experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Kanban workflows; strong communication, organization, and cross-functional coordination skills; familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform; requirements gathering and analysis skills; strong problem-solving abilities; data and systems analysis and design skills; and change management understanding and project life cycle familiarity.

Pay Range Minimum:
$67,500.00Pay Range Maximum:
$126,000.00Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
