Healthcare IT Account Manager I - Remote
The Account Manager I is responsible for managing a portfolio of healthcare clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and supporting revenue growth through innovative IT solutions. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, understanding the unique needs of healthcare organizations, and aligning our services to enhance patient care, maintain compliance, and improve operational efficiency.
Please note: Candidates must be available to work Central or Eastern Time Zone business hours to align with our team’s operations.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison for assigned healthcare clients, fostering strong, trust-based partnerships.
Customer Success & Support: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and responsive service.
Strategic Solution Alignment: Assess client goals and challenges to deliver IT solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.
Account Development: Drive account growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing relationships.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with internal teams to resolve issues, optimize service delivery, and enhance long-term client retention.
Requirements:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree required with at least 3 years of experience in account or client success management, ideally in growth or retention roles.
Industry & Technical Knowledge: Healthcare experience preferred; strong consideration for candidates with managed IT, cybersecurity, or cloud hosting backgrounds; familiarity with platforms like ConnectWise is a plus.
Client & Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability in client retention, upselling, and cross-selling; excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong critical thinking skills with the capacity to assess complex business and technology challenges and deliver effective solutions.
Professionalism & Flexibility: Highly organized and adaptable; able to manage pressure, travel up to 20%, work after hours if needed, and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.
